With Excellence, motivation and creativity
Investigations at the edge of our knowledge
To work at the Max-Planck-Society means: investigations and research at the edge of knowledge. With perseverance and motivation, under flexible conditions. so far, the scientific focus at the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurological Research lied on regeneration and plasticity after cerebral ischemia and on neuro-oncology. With the nomination of Prof. Jens Brüning as director of the institute, research efforts are being made in the understanding of neuronal control of metabolism.
For this we need creative minds and brains. Excellent researchers with the courage to ask difficult questions and the perseverance to work stubbornly to obtain the right answers. Thus, together we build the important basis for future medical applications.
We offer an excellent scientific environment. And we expect much. Scientifically as well as personally: an open, fair and constructive attitude is self-understood. It is the basis for our cooperation in a friendly and results-oriented atmosphere.
